OPEN LETTER TO THE NKHWAZI BOARD – PROPOSED FEES HIKE

The welfare of the teachers is very important for the good education of our children. If the reason for increase of school fees is increment of the salaries of teacherst, then that condition should be met

This is unjustified and the school should engage parents before any such hike is considered! This is tantamount to extortion.

academic standards are really falling. Example is in CTS subject, the school records very low class average in Grade 5A, it has been around 50-53% this year. Some teachers have even resorted to doing private tuition which is unprofessional. This is unacceptable for a school with such high fees for primary level education.

The increment is not justified. Shareholders of NKhwazi need to inject capital also. The standards have remained the same for the past 3 years and teachers' morale is at its lowest.

I do not support the propsed increases of school fees as there is no proper justification.

I would suggest that the school and the board be open to parents suggestions. A lot of other private schools have not revised their fees because of the economic situation nowadays.

The Summary of the PTA’s Response to the Proposed Fee Increase for the 2018 Academic Year provides clear evidence that the current proposal to increase fees is not justifiable.

Please maintain the fees until we see a corresponding improvement in the quality of the services being provided and staff welfare

The annual increment of school fees is unacceptable and the quality of some teachers leaves much to be desired. Quality of some teachers needs some urgent attention.
