Calling someone “future bae” by itself isn’t necessarily weird some people jokingly say things like “future wife” or “future husband.” What makes it concerning is when someone builds an entire online persona around an imaginary partner and repeatedly sexualizes that character or acts out romantic scenarios with them. If the content is constant, obsessive, or includes inappropriate themes, it can make viewers uncomfortable because the focus shifts from a harmless joke to repeated sexualized roleplay involving a fictional future partner.
