We are not against Valko as an individual character. We are against what his return represents.
Our concerns go far beyond one new love interest:
- The company repeatedly ignored long-standing player feedback.
- Players waited over 500 days for meaningful main story updates while resources were spent on developing a new character.
- Many players felt the game’s marketing became inconsistent, presenting Love and Deepspace as an otome game in China while using broader marketing overseas, creating confusion about the game’s identity.
- Communication with the community has been poor, and trust has been seriously damaged.
- Many players also raised concerns over controversies surrounding the game’s promotional content and believe these concerns were not addressed adequately.
We ask Paper Games/Infold to respect the player base that supported this game from the beginning, remain committed to the original otome identity of Love and Deepspace, and prioritize improving the existing story and characters instead of bringing Valko back.

I do not want Valko back. He's a copycat of the already existing LI, every trait he has — whether his personality or his looks — was taken straight from other LI. "He's a nerd!!", you mean like Zayne, Xavier and Caleb are? "He's looking for his mate!!!", yeah, just like Sylus and Rafayel did. "He's so puppy-coded!!", like Caleb already was? Nothing about him is new or exiting, developers didn't try at all.
I accept Valko's removal to save LADS, but Infold’s silence is deeply immature. Instead of toxic fanbase fighting, Infold must handle this with maturity. LADS is not just an action game; players invest their real emotions and hearts into it. It is unfair to leave us hanging. Infold must step up and provide substantial, high-value in-game compensation that truly makes up for the real money spent by players who had already invested financially
Sylus and Caleb are still missing 3 and 4* they should have been given on release, bond stories, and more. Infold is still ignoring players’ calls about these but instead chose to work on a new guy who is gonna end up having the same fate as these two! We’ve waited two years, and still they only mentioned they’re gonna do branch stories and nothing more! I don’t want Valko until infold gives longtime paying players what they should have always had like OG3
Signing this cause he makes me uncomfortable just like how irl men makes me uncomfortable. Also his story is quite creepy cause he enters a girl’s house without permission that too at night.

The game announced him without a proper build up, no foreshadowing during main story, he didn't even have a proper trade mark. His whole character is recycled and rushed, his face looks like a mash up of Sylus and Caleb, his eyes are like Zayne's. His companion's outfit is almost identical to Rafayel's abysswalker but with some parts like Caleb's X02. His trope of being a CEO is like Sylus. His puppy coded behaviour is like Caleb. His trailer had a lot of recycled lines a from other LIs and etc

Developers can't even handle already existing five characters, what are they planning to do with six? Sylus and Caleb are missing so much, it's insane, there anecdotes, four star cards, five star cards with specific stellas, the difference between using one of the main three and the two added later is so obvious in any fight, it's painful.
