I'm truly pained by the reality of unemployed educators in our communities. It is as though there aren't schools in need of new educators, the old and retirement deserving educators should be laid off since their performance is also not as good as the newly qualified teachers could be.

I’m a teacher and it’s been so difficult to find employment. Having worked as an EA I’ve seen the corruption that exists in these schools and I’m hoping it comes to an end so it’s fair play for everyone

I am signing because my family sacrificed so much to help me graduate, hoping I would change our situation at home. Instead, I am now a graduate begging for a job. The lack of transparency in hiring practices and the heavy silence from our education departments is breaking the spirit of qualified youth who just want to serve their communities. And the unfair financial trap,as we are forced to pay professional fees while we have no source of income.

Because of high unemployment of qualified teachers. I am also one of them. We remain unemployed for many years after graduation. A lot of teachers are paid a lot of money. This may cause graduates to engage in illegal activities just to survive which none of us want. We stay at home with no hope. We are poor, educated and hopeless. A lot of teachers are produced by universities that every year while there is already a very high unemployment rate of teachers. Please intervene. Hear our voices.
