The size of the art at Theos does not pose a public detriment! I like Theodores the way I like my breakfast: big, beautiful and made by locals!

Besides the argument of supporting local artists, it is just paint. It can always be painted over later. Let the tenant have it painted how they want until the next person comes through. As long as the structure of the building is the same let them keep their choice of paint and art.

There is nothing detrimental about the artwork whatsoever; it is not vulgar, misleading, or interfering with the downtown aesthetic. Further, the "rubber hose" style is artwork that was far more popular in the 1930's, which actually means the mural, while new, has a historical leaning anyway.

My government teacher from last year owns this bagel shop, and she is genuinely one of the most caring, thoughtful, helpful, and considerate people that I know. I love the bagels from the bagel shop and I absolutely love the art. It’s truly a shame that somebody took a look of the beautiful piece of artwork on the building and decided to violated some sort of code. The city of Prescott should be focusing on more pressing matters. Nobody was bothered by the art nobody ever should be.
