Terrance Hinds must retire from cricket, and the TKR franchise should stop selecting him without a clear, fair, and publicly understood reason.

Many supporters are asking the same simple questions: what merit was used for his selection in the first place, and what made him fit for a franchise team? He never represented T&T at youth level, and he had never represented T&T at any point before being selected for the TKR franchise for the CPL in 2018. When a player is picked under those circumstances, people deserve an honest explanation, not silence and confusion.

Selection in cricket should be based on performance, consistency, and value to the team. Fans can accept good decisions, even unpopular ones, when the process is clear. What they cannot accept is year after year of what looks like wasted opportunity, while the same player continues to collect big cheques and the team gets little in return. That is not fair to the supporters, the serious cricketers who are waiting for their chance, or the standard of the game.

Terrance Hinds must retire from cricket. It is time to stop this pattern and make room for players who can truly contribute. If he wants to keep playing, he should stick to windball. For the good of the team and the respect of the sport, we call for this to end now.
