We purchased 5 yrs ago & love our live oak home. My partner has since passed away & my usage less than ever as I travel and LEAVE the state 2-3 wks at a time. I was stupefied when my bill “to be on the grid” w Zero usage basically tripled. We didn’t bank not know we’d be charged for hurricanes, & .3 kilowatt increase per hour w peak Times factored in!?! Ppl didn’t anticipate this and are unprepared for such rate hikez

Have Lived here for 27 yrs, this drastic change is outrageous, especially on a 2nd home that power at the pole is off. Bill was 30 a month it has rapidly increased to $80 a month in fees now with no power being used. A average Bill of 175-225 a month is now over 500. We are entitled to an audit of this companies obvious bad business practices
