We should not have to constantly worry about charging our devices, finding a place with electricity or struggling with poor internet just to complete our academic work. We are paying to study here, and expecting basic infrastructure and uninterrupted internet access is completely reasonable. These facilities should be provided as a basic right for students, not treated as a privilege.

Regarding the fundamental requirements for the hostel and mess, it is imperative to ensure the timely provision of hygienic food and electricity. Should there be any power interruptions, advance notice specifying the duration is expected, avoiding arbitrary outages. Furthermore, stricter oversight of the mess manager is needed to address any compromises in food quality or quantity.

I faced it for 4 straight years and our seniors faced it too and now it is just passed on to our juniors as well . I'm so glad we are finally doing something about it ,the right way..
I'm with them. Change is needed and is non-negotiable .

This petetion is not for some over the top facilities,but only for basic human facilities like stable electricity, network and water ,which they are obliged to provide if they are running a prestigious organization like NIT.
