Decision Makers: YouTube

This petition is to bring awareness of the disapproval and struggles from the community of creators, artists, partners, and billions of viewers of a.i moderation in YouTube platform. Witnessing AI demonetization with no proof or explanation of violating the policy, yet restricting their finances without warning. How this doesn't meet YouTube's "protection creator's earnings" as guaranteed in their official blog. As many are experiencing Wage Theft within this year, and uncertainty of creating their channel.

According to YouTube's Official Blog, "Creating is the most rewarding on YouTube". This belief carried the purpose of YouTube's Partnership Program (YPP) since 2007. Supporting creators who have provided for the YouTube platform for over a decade. This program is relied on financial stability, keeping us sustained as pricing has increased within the decade. Helping us through struggles of income, bills, personal health, groceries, supporting families and communities, and keeping a roof over our head.

However, with YouTube CEO's, Neal Mohan, pushing the YouTube system towards AI, based on his vision to "ensuring AI serves the people who make YouTube great: the creators, artists, partners, and billions of viewers", several creators have been backlashed from serving YouTube with their videos. This year has spoken the most downfall of channels from the people Mohan listed, than any previous years on YouTube. With the increase of demonetization from AI in the system, towards these channels.

Creators like YoonToons, Honobread, shozzy, Kelsey Animated, BUT TRU, BoogyToons, Nenjuno, Heralen, INSTINCT, Huncho, and several more under the search of "demonetization", have spoken the similar experience of their recent demonetization. All finding their channels marked as, "Misleading to Family Content", being accused of, "content that intentionally or unintentionally could attract young minors and families, but contain mature themes such as sexual content or violence". Yet confirmed they set their videos "No, it's not made for kids". Even Honobread points outs in, "I need your help ", that she mentioned in her videos, that's her topics aren't suitable for kids, "so if you're underage or care about spoilers, I'm afraid you must leave". Including her titles that consist, Psych Wards, Pole Dancing, College, that isn't to targeted to children audience.

Yet they were limited to two options of waiting 90 days, 3 months, without payment and no guarantee of being accepted back to the Partnership Program, or to reach out with an appeal. And when they explained the situation to YouTube, asking for an explanation for what in their content is seen misleading, they are only met with an AI automated messages several times. Being denied of their requests within the same hour, and to continue working for YouTube without payment. This resembles Wage Theft, as stated in State of California , Department of Industrial Relations, "unauthorized deductions from your pay" and "not receiving agreed upon wages".

Many creators depend on this payment for primary and even only income, food, medical reasons, groceries, emergencies, and with circumstances out of your control. Now we have no control over our payment because of AI. YouTube was to "ensure we protect this thriving creator ecosystem" as claimed in YouTube Official blog. By helping us be sustained in our economy, we creators use this payment for survival. AI does not need to pay bills or rent, or pay for food to not starve, have to face medical bills, or family and friends that need financial support. This was all achieved before artificial intelligence, with our ability to create and use our voice to share stories. And is being replaced by an AI that does not dream. Instead it's fed by the same corporation that ensured we could share our stories with a voice, by protecting us.

We speak out as creators that feel at risk to share and even start their channels. Without the protection of YouTube of their creations, including the lack of security from the Partnership Program, several are quiting their channel to focus on more remote jobs or other apps that can keep them stable. We are now debating on becoming animators, artists, and content creators without any value to what we create. Questioning if there is any value in what we create, compared to early 2010s.

We ask that AI is removed within the system of YouTube's moderation. For this is not the YouTube we fell in love with. Instead it's become a safer place for the corporation than the community itself. Benefiting from our creations to a robot that can't dream at all. Or needs to survive.

Nobody should have the ability to lose the money they made with all the time they spent on the result over AI's mistakes.

Well as artists we suffer a lot from ai... And we want large corporations like yt take a step to reduce the usage of ai And also promote artworks from a living human then a machine Art has a soul which ai can't recreate I hope we humans come together and reduce usage of ai And use them only when needed And never use them for art be it anything Drawing, painting, music, acting anything
