So many of my friends work in creative design and art, including myself. Every single one of them is petrified at how quickly and seemingly uncaringly AI has grown and taken over the creative industry, removing job opportunities and replacing beautiful artistic flair with blatantly obvious and uncanny AI slop. It looks horrible, its in your face obvious, soulless, gross to look at and it prevents artists from living their dream and expressing their unique artistic passion.

AI use makes me think something is low quality and stops money going through artists and creatives and makes the world worse. Fuck AI

Most of the staff are art students or creative people so why be lazy and use AI when you can ask your staff for their input.

I spoke to one of my old coworkers in my old pub, who also worked in a Lloyds Wetherspoons pub, and they mentioned how one of the managers there makes all the posters themselves.
Im sure theres a lot of us who would be more than happy to help out when it comes to designing the posters advertising the weekend events.

Ai is soulless and will do more harm than good not only to your image but the world. The majority of people hate ai generated content and are avoidant of places that use it.

There are so many creatives that work for Iceni, most would be happy to make their own designs. AI is simply not needed here.

Don't let AI take our livelihood from us! As a recent NUA graduate, I know that there are so many graduates, and students, who are in need of jobs.
Spoons, you are a big enough company to be able to afford to hire some new freelance designers to do these posters.
AI art is not nice to look at and cheapens the look of everything, people want to see art made by real people, not lifeless slop!
Norwich is known as a creative city for a reason, let it remain that way.

Creative students are always looking for experience, if they advertised it to NUA or UEA people would be lining up. It likely wouldn’t even cost them anything, the ability to add experience to their CV is more than enough for a lot of art students, especially if they do it in a way where they can tag and support the artist who contributed the poster. The cost of living crisis is bringing in more and more young people to spoons, they should be considered as a target demographic.
