As a long time resident who chose Penfield specifically for its rural heritage and country living, I'm writing to formally opposed the purposed housing development. I ask that you uphold our current zoning laws, honor our current the town's commitment to preserving our rural character, and deny this proposal.

Farm land needs to be preserved in the Town of Penfield. The wild life is slowly loosing land to live and feed on.

As a resident of Marchner Road, I strongly oppose this proposed development. Our area has already experienced significant storm drainage issues, and additional development is likely to worsen flooding and runoff. This not only threatens nearby properties but also creates serious safety hazards on our roads. Marchner Road is a rural area and should stay that way.

As a longtime resident of Marchner Rd, I strongly oppose this development proposal. 204 housing units would fundamentally alter our quiet, rural neighborhood in ways that cannot be mitigated. Traffic congestion on Marchner Road is my greatest immediate concern. Marchner is a narrow, two-lane rural road without shoulders, never built for high volumes. Additionally, hundreds more cars will worsen the current safety hazards at the many intersections along the busy 55 mph Route 250 corridor.

I lived near there for many years. There has been SO much development. Leave some green spaces!

We live directly across the street from where this development is proposed. We moved to this neighborhood to have the best of both worlds with a rural setting but close to the village and town. Rezoning this property to allow this high density development will significantly alter the nature and characteristics of our neighborhood. We have already lost so much green space to high density housing developments along 250. Please do not allow this rezoning.

This Development is a serious problem as it negatively effects all residents. Not only will it effect our deer, owl, and fox population, but even turning on Rt. 250 from Marchner Rd. is already dangerous. Adding this housing community will be a congestion hazard especially if a two-car family is the norm. Please don't turn our unique town into just another overdeveloped eyesore like Penfield or Greece.

I built this home on Marchner Road to ease the emotionally traumatic effects of Army service in Bosnia and combat in Afghanistan. Here I am surrounded by not only God's creative beauty in nature, but by a close-knit group of neighbors that look out for each other.
Creating a massive housing development at the proposed location has created much anxiety regarding our physical and emotional health, let alone the enormous traffic congestion, safety, property value decline, and quality of life.

Just in the last few years there has been significant development in the area. This is not the appropriate place for additional development, especially when it would require new zoning, increase traffic and present safety concerns

Over the last 20 years, just about every forest, field, wetland and wildlife habitat in this area has been bulldozed for densely packed, high priced townhouse rentals. The tax paying residents have watched the swift decline of wildlife
