I live in chapel hill and can’t stand to see these large development neighborhoods get taken over by crappy builders with no respect for the people going to be living in it

I own farm land in the vicinity of this proposed development. I do not want my well water compromised, my property values impacted or the road next to my house to be a racetrack to flat creek road

Our local government knows our infrastructure can’t handle this big development. We need to take care of the people already here, improve schools, roads, water & businesses before bringing more in. Plus this will cost the county millions of dollars because the developers aren’t paying for all improvements. This is not a smart development.

Water safety, over population to our roads, schools, emergency services, infrastructure overall. Too many house on not enough land.

So many reasons! Starting with the fact that we don’t have the infrastructure or school capacity for the subdivision currently in progress next to the underpass on Depot Street. Anderson lane continues to be a short cut and has turned into a racetrack. You can’t even safely pull out of your driveway anymore. Let the money grabbing contractors go elsewhere.

This is a huge development and will bring a large amount of traffic and cars to the area. Chapel Hill cannot support this amount of growth, not to mention we are in a drought and over 500 more house that will need water.

Infrastructure needs to be in place before any building is even considered. And even after that large subdivisions like this are changing the character of rural Chapel Hill.

Not only will this put stress on the immediate community around the proposed subdivision, it will also cripple our school system that is already busting at the seams. Growth is one this but this is greed.

I’ve seen quiet country towns keep turning into stacked houses, crowded roads and schools and chaos all to line pockets of builders and politicians and I’m opposed to it all.

This is a rural, multi acre area. Placing a high density housing development here does not fit. We also do not have the infrastructure or the money to upgrade it for this many people.
