My partner has an older dog that we take to the park. She is not as mobile as she use to be but still enjoys the Bark Park. It would be nice for her to have a shaded area to rest, especially when it is hat out, when she is not up to moving but still wants to be at the park.

It’s important to me that the dogs are able to spend time outdoors so when the owners have more comfortability and shade from the sun, it allows the dogs to play an interact for a longer period of time

Having a shaded area would provide a nice place to relax and cool down and help avoid overheating in dogs and humans

This is very detrimental to the health and safety of our furry friends. In the summertime especially, we need a shady area for the dogs that need a spot to cool. Heat stroke is not a joke and is very common for dogs that come in to the Bark Park.

During the middle of the day, it is very hot and there is no shade. Please provide shade structures for the main seating area of the dog park. Sail type covers should provide plenty of shade and wouldn't cost as much as other types of shading.

June - Oct is baking out there. VERY little shade unless you hunker down underneath the fence-line hedges…. Which some people do!

With the sun hotter than ever, shade is more important now than it ever has been.
