Decision Makers: Pump.fun

Justice for the Trenchers: Deliver the Airdrop. Reduce Callout Payouts. Stop Vamping. Fix Onboarding.

We are the traders, creators, and users who generate the volume and attention that keep Pump.fun alive. We are asking for one thing above all: a clear plan for the airdrop.

On July 9, 2025, Pump.fun announced the $PUMP ICO with the words "airdrop coming soon". Two weeks later, co-founder Alon Cohen said it would not happen in the immediate future. That was over 15 months ago. We have received no timeline, no eligibility criteria, and no allocation size. The only airdrop so far went to Padre holders in December 2025, after backlash over the acquisition.

Meanwhile, Pump.fun has bought back and burned hundreds of millions of dollars of $PUMP, including a burn of about $370 million, 36% of circulating supply, in April 2026.

Who benefits from this? Definitely not the average trencher.

At launch, 24% of the token supply was reserved for community and ecosystem initiatives. We have still not seen a public plan for it. Was it all a lie?

Our demands

Publish an airdrop plan.
Announce a snapshot date, eligibility criteria, total allocation, and distribution date. Fund it from the 24% community and ecosystem allocation.

Reward real participation. Weight eligibility toward consistent activity over time, such as active days, tokens launched, and trades across many tokens. Do not weight it toward raw volume or whale-sized positions. Include sybil protection.

Cut the Callout Rewards budget and redirect it to the airdrop. Callout Rewards launched in August 2026 with a budget of roughly $15 million. Reduce that budget sharply and move the freed funds into the community airdrop. Rewards should go to consistent, real participation, not to whoever has the most callout motion.

Commit to stopping vamping. Take a clear, public stand against vamp culture and end the practices that enable it. Pump.fun’s fee features and rapid-launch mechanics helped create and sustain vamp culture. The platform profits from the volume these behaviors generate while ordinary users get drained.

Fix onboarding. Replace AI-generated advertising slop with real, high-quality campaigns. The platform deserves marketing that matches its cultural importance in the trenches. Invest in authentic, well-executed campaigns instead of low-effort AI-generated content on X.
