The BIA helps make this community the lovely community it is. The events bring us together, help us all thrive in this world we live in today. Because of them, our little town with the big heart, brings in other communities and those people help our community as well. Then they take their “heart” back to their communities. It is not always about the dollar… get together and chat… there is always a way to make a good thing better.

Although I don’t live in Stirling , I have suppprted this community for years by visiting its local shops, attending farmers markets and choosing to spend my money with the small businesses that make this town special. Communities like Stirling are becoming increasingly important to protect . As our region continues to grow, with new construction and subdivisions changing the landscape , we risk losing small town character and sense of community that draws people to places like Stirling .

Stirling is a sweet little town with so much to offer . If you take away all the BIA then what ?? We love going to the lighting of the lights, the farmers market and much more. Bad enough Belleville has taken everything away now Stirling is . Guess we will need to vote ppl in that care about our little town and get rid of the old

I am signing this because the BIA cares about our community and if they were to be dismantled it would deeply affect this community. It would stop tourists from visiting and attending the events thus there being a significant reduction in tourists providing financial support to the businesses in this town. It is disturbing how this town's Council can make arbitrarily decisions to benefit themselves. It is time that the constituents of this town start speaking up

I feel that the BIA does a fantastic job with the events they put on (markets, light display, light the night). In my opinion why ruin a good thing? Their volunteers work diligently to make these events happen and they should be commended for all their hard work. I fear that by disbanding them will result in these events going by the wayside down the road and not only will residents suffer from it but also merchants in the village. I hope Town Council will rethink their position on this matter.

I am signing this because markets in fall & winter bring the community together. There are a lot of local vendors in our community and outside our community that come together. I have attended fall and winter markets they were wonderful and our family enjoyed them hundreds of people attended.
