From a community perspective, a pub would be so much more beneficial than another private dwelling.

As a family who recently moved to Donhead St Andrew we are very upset our only pub has gone. We had used it numerous times beforehand. It would be a great shame to loose this community gathering place for good, especially with so much interest and support to get it up and running again.

Living in the Area for 30 years 18 of those in DstM The foresters has has some great landlords over the time, the right person could make it a success, if it’s made into residential there’s no going back, the Donheads have lost so many pubs over the years

I liked this pub & would not want to loose it. It needs keeping for the community and once it is turned into a house, the community has lost it forever. My son in law worked there as a youngster and it have me a good start in working.

I am signing because the Forester used to be a central part of my family’s life in Gutch Common. We really miss it. Before it closed there was nothing we liked better than to take the footpaths that lead from Gutch Common to Donhead St Andrew and to go to the Forester to have a pint and a fabulous lunch.
