We, the members at The Club at La Costa, urge management to reconsider cancelling all fitness classes on Sundays.
The Sunday circuit training and yoga classes serve two very different but equally important needs in our community. Circuit training gives members a high-efficiency cardio and strength workout that is especially valuable for those who cannot fit exercise into the busy workweek. Yoga offers flexibility, stress relief, and recovery, helping members start the new week feeling balanced and ready. These classes are not extras for many of us; they are part of why The Club at La Costa is such an important part of our routine.
Cancelling these Sunday sessions would reduce the value of our memberships and leave a real gap in the schedule for members who rely on weekend classes.
We understand the need to manage operational costs. That is why we are asking management to consider reducing the number of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that the Sunday circuit training and yoga classes can remain in place. This approach would help protect a schedule that serves more members throughout the week, while still allowing the club to make responsible choices.
Please keep Sunday fitness classes at Omni La Costa. We appreciate your consideration and your continued efforts to make La Costa a great place for our community.
Since this petition went up today I have had several texts and calls from members questioning this decision. As a member of the advisory board, it is my duty to bring this to the front of the line. I will be in touch with memberships tomorrow to see if we can resolve this. I realize that Omni needs to manage a profitable business, but there are some very good ideas in this chain that can give the members what they are paying for. Thanks for your comments. I will take this forward. All the Best!
