We, the undersigned, believe the ban on taking basic items such as sandwiches or crisps into the Cherry Red Records Stadium unfairly penalises those who can't afford pricey items sold within the crowd and who don't wish to miss parts of the match through queuing
These rules are totally unnecessary and tone deaf. Fans already pay a lot to attend and travel to matches. Many home fans have long journeys that they want to bring food for, many can’t afford tickets to purchase food in the ground or would much prefer not to stand in a lengthy queue when they’d rather be watching the match, catching up with friends or having a pint. Seriously guys. Give your heads a wobble and think about why we are all here in the first place.

I fail to see how bringing a sandwich and a chocolate bar to a match can cause any problems.
I like many others enjoy a pre match snack and strongly resent this being taken away from me.
I know that there is food and drink sold in the concourse, however it is expensive and not to my taste.

Because football is expensive enough and fans and families should be able to bring their own basic snacks

Basic snacks like crisps or biscuits should be allowed for the following reasons:
-not everyone goes to football to eat, some just want a quick snack at half time without leaving their seat.
-not everyone can afford the prices - they have already paid for match ticket and this should be enough
-not everyone wants to queue and risk missing the start of the second half.
-for the fans by the fans - less and less so!

We travel 70 miles from home to Plough Lane, we bring a piece of fruit and a bag if crisps to eat at half time. With the cost of ithe season tickets and fuel we cannot afford to buy food in the ground, which is quite expensive.

I feel this is unfair as people should be allowed to bring in a simple thing like a sandwich rather than unhealthy pies and sausage rolls which, isn't to everyone's taste. The coffee you offer is, to my taste, disgusting. The food is also very expensive while the quality is below standard.

I like a Greggs sausage roll and a coffee for £3.25 not that expensive dish water they serve up in the ground !
