Dr. Dela Cruz has always been so supportive when working with noncredit. When I was SCE GP Coordinator, I had the opportunity to work alongside her a lot more as we worked on transitioning our SCE students. I was also part of the Advising Committee for SAC’s APSC when it was just getting started. This group has now blossomed and continues to support both credit & noncredit students. It’ll be a shame to lose such a wonderful Dean who is equity-minded. Please reconsider this contract and keep her.

I truly think that is extremely disappointing seeing the injustice caused by another staff member (Dan Ruiz) and his incompetence lead to remove Dr. Dela Cruz. I really hope that she gets to keep her position, and if not, I really hope that she gets the place and space where her leadership is valued and gets to work with professional staff, not disqualified instructors such as Dan Ruiz.

Her performance does not warrant the non-renewal of her contract.
