This matters to me because I am a medical graduate in Iran who hopes to pursue further medical training and practice internationally. Losing access to the AMC examination would close an important professional pathway for many qualified Iranian doctors through no fault of their own. We should be evaluated on our knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications—not simply on where we live.

I have invested a great deal of time, energy, and effort into preparing for this exam, and I have also experienced a lot of stress throughout this process. Now, when I am finally at the stage of seeing the results of all my hard work, having the exam cancelled for Iranian candidates feels deeply unfair. I am a hardworking and determined person, and I have done everything I could to reach this point. I kindly ask you to reconsider this decision and give us another opportunity to take the exam.

I want justice to be served and this discrimination to end, so that an Iranian, just like any other person, can take international exams anywhere in the world.

We Iranian professionals should be allowed to take the exam like others around the world. Access to educational facilities is a human right and it must be provided by the exam organizers or they should introduce an alternative in this case.

Because the people of Iran, like all free people around the world, have the right to access examinations.

Because the access to science should not be based on Race or Political views of certain groups.

This decision completely cuts off the path for Iranian medical graduates to work within the Australian medical system. This is an example of how political issues harm Iranian doctors. And I hope the AMC helps create a level playing field for Iranian IMGs.
