We call on LCOR to provide a clear accounting of how common area utility fees are calculated and distributed. People who pay these fees deserve a plain explanation of what they are being charged for, how the amounts are determined, and where the money goes.

Right now, LCOR has historically avoided giving a clear accounting of these charges. That leaves residents carrying a burden they should not have to bear: paying fees that cannot be properly explained, with no clear view of the calculations behind them. When common area utility costs are shared, the process should be transparent, consistent, and easy to understand.

We are asking LCOR to stop leaving residents in the dark and to provide a full, understandable breakdown of common area utility fees. That should include the method used to calculate the charges, the way the costs are distributed, and enough detail for residents to see that the fees are fair.

This is a matter of basic accountability. If LCOR is collecting money for common area utilities, it should be able to explain those charges clearly and completely. Residents should not be expected to accept unexplained fees or guess at how they were determined.

We ask LCOR to provide that accounting now, and to make sure these fees are transparent going forward.
