REQUEST TO UPGRADE ORLANDO EAST CLINIC TO A 24-HOUR FACILITY

We can't loose more people due to limited resources. The clinic is closer therefore should be open 24 hours so that people have access to healthcare no matter the time. In case of emergency not everyone has the means to Uber or drive to the hospital. The clinic being open helps to mitigate any risks prior to going to the hospital also the ambulance services are quick to arrive when called by the clinic as opposed to being called by an individual

We, the residents of Orlando East, Orlando West, Diepkloof, and greater Soweto, demand that the Gauteng Department of Health makes Orlando Clinic a 24-hour facility. Currently Orlando Clinic closes at 16:30. After that, our community has nowhere to go. This is putting lives at risk. *WHY IT MUST BE 24 HOURS:* *1. Emergencies don't wait for 8am.* Children get fevers, asthma attacks, seizures at night. People are stabbed, hit by cars, or have GBV cases at night. Right now we must travel far.
