I’m devastated to hear M&S would close this incredible store in Thurmaston. It was always so busy and the staff in there were exceptionally kind and friendly. I used it nearly every week. It was always a highlight when they brought out their season favourites, especially Christmas. As a local I was always proud of our little shopping centre, it has the right amount and variety of shops that make it a pleasant experience. I hope Waitrose jumps in to replace it if it closes.

M&S is probably the best shop at the Thurmaston shopping centre. There's not much worth going up there for now. It's also much more convenient for those who don't want to go to Fosse Park. Please re-open, M&S.

Close Asda, open big m&s! It was a busy little store and accessable, Loughborough oadby and fosse park are all inaccessible and 2 bus rides away for those that don't drive

Fosse park is too far to travel, thurmaston is the local hub for people that can’t travel that far, leaving them without decent food, in the area , we need the store back!

Absolutely awful news. The shopping centre which once was a central pillar of the community has disappointed us. To compensate for this, the centre needs to attract shops that customers want. It would be smart to let the people decided what shops they would like to see. This can definitely project the success of the establishment in the retail park.

This was The best shop at the retail park and served a wide area, drawing in shoppers from many miles away. This sad closure will I’m sure be the start of the downfall on this shopping centre.
