The arrangements are killing Oxford City Centre and causing huge delays to residents

The LTNs have caused more problems, more traffic and is essentially destroying the city and the trade. The purpose of the LTN was to reduce emissions but the amount of traffic certainly does not reduce emissions.

We live by the Holloway filter, feel very restricted by travel for the whole family, bus times haven’t really improved and it’s still a pain to get down Holloway at busy times. No freedom of movement in a City I’ve lived in for nearly 70 years. I feel the county council don’t listen to the residents and seems it’s a dictatorship. Why is there even a filter in Holloway, no where near the city centre or the Botley Road. Hire scooter parking on street corners is not ideal either. Who OKd that.

Traffic in Oxford is terrible.

The hours spent on the buses to and from hospitals and the long walks from the bus stops. Absolute gridlock everywhere in Oxford.

If only there was some democratic way of influencing the Oxfordshire Transport Network Councillor David Henwood (elected member of Oxford City and Oxfordshire County Councils)?

These LTNs didn't help at all; they merely led to increased traffic and longer travel times in a city already suffering from severe congestion.

I cannot understand how forcing people to take longer routes in order to avoid these restrictions reduces traffic or pollution. It is unrealistic to believe that so many people don’t need to drive.

I am limited to how far I can walk and this system cuts me off from the outside world. Cruel

Not all children are safer. Saw a bunch of children leaving school, cycling on wrong side of road on a blind corner. Could've been fatal. The argument about safer streets for children is not valid...escooters and ebikes are allowed through LTNs which are silent and dangerous too.

These filters now prove the entire concept was appalling researched with weak data - this vanity project is clearly failing and an appalling wasye of public funds.

The most vulnerable are the worst affected...those on their way to hospital who are elderly, infirm or seriously injured...those awaiting carer visits to attend to their essential needs, ensure their safety and dispense their essential medication...those who man our emergency services and need to travel swiftly, not only down filter roads, to save lives. A civilised society is one that puts the needs of its most vulnerable first. Remove Oxford's traffic filters and relax LTN, (ANPR,) access now.

I live in an area surrounded by LTNs They have not only caused a massive headache to local residents but also divided the community. It is more an experiment in social engineering than anything to do with the environment or traffic calming.
