Starlink is a critical safety tool for cruisers. We may be spending months in areas that don’t have Starlink (to avoid hurricanes) so we are unable to transfer our service there.

I don't mind paying for Roam when I'm traveling (or whatever you're calling it now), maybe $170/month, but I am country-less. I can't responsibly pay more, and the new rules basically rule Starlink out as a viable way to stay connected. I will switch to Iridium Go while in motion and local SIM cards at destinations like I used to do anyway. This will save me more than half of the old Roam plan, so you are shooting yourself in the foot here.

As an international traveler on a sailboat I depend on starlink for important weather updates as well as customs requirements and completion of said documents. These new fees do not fit into my tight budget and will result in me having to cancel my service.

I have been so happy with Starlink service since February, and I have sailed 7000 miles since on my way around the world. It is so important to have access to weather, to process clearance and security forms for the countries I have and will visit, having communication with loved ones, and research on destinations is so important as well. I use ocean mode while transiting, and will continue to, every month.

I am a bluewater cruiser and Starlink has made things much safer out on the water, but it just keeps getting more expensive. Why are we paying 2-3 times more than a house account, when we are mostly living on a retired budget?

Having Starkink changed how we travel allowing us to sail to new places while working remotely. Removing or restricting that ability is a step back.

I intended to sail the Atlantic and spent time in the Caribbean. In the Carieb you change country twicr a month. In Europe I currently use SIM cards, especially due to ever changing rules of Starlink.

We are cruisers and have 3 x Staelink accounts! 1 for home. 1 for our boat that we sail NZ to Pacific. 1 mini to roam NZ with. It certsinly makes us rethink what we do and will probably drop all accounts as we neee connectivity for work. Roll on Leo!

This new roam policy is not only unfair - it's changing the TOC AFTER THE PURCHASE. This is terrible for end users and Starlink's Reputation - is a form of blackmail actually.

SL enabled my daughter to be schooled while circumnavigating the globe over 7 years. This change may impact the dream.

It’s important for us (sailors) to have a 3months solution

This plan makes it almost impossible to use Starlink as I sail to different countries. I will sometimes spend a few days in one place or a few more the in another place. I live aboard a small sailboat by myself, I am neither wealthy nor a commercial entity. Starlink is one of my primary safety mechanisms at sea as it allows me to access weather reports and communicate if I’m in distress. Please keep the pricing reasonable for someone in my lifestyle.
