Starlink needs to remain focused on customer service especially for those who regularly travel between countries and require reliable internet. Country and region restrictions will work against reliability and compromise safety. There needs to be a better option rather than enforcing new restrictions.

We have sailed thousands of miles across the Pacific, and Starlink has fundamentally changed what is possible for safe offshore cruising. It has allowed us to receive critical weather information, stay in touch with loved ones, and work from some of the most remote places on Earth. We deeply appreciate that innovation. We simply ask that the roaming policy evolve to support the realities of long-term international travelers instead of forcing us into an impossible choice.

Starlink has become an integral part of planning and undertaking safe passages at sea. Given its virtual service monopoly, and while acknowledging that it exists to make a profit, Starlink should recognise that it has a responsibility to provide fair and reasonable access to the cruising community.

I'm alone on a sailboat. The $100 a month is already a big burden. I'm constantly sailing through other countries along the way. Starlink makes me feel safer, but the price is a burden. I'd have to cancel my subscription if the price went up.

As a full time live aboard internet abroad keeps us safe with weather prediction apps to medical care when in the islands, to homeschooling my two young girls. Starlink has to stay accessible to us. We are not rich with unlimited resources and anchorages I roam are filled with families like ours, digital nomads, etc. who travel from port to port. Please reconsider. Please.

Remove the 90-day country transfer restriction and allow customers to localize their account whenever they move to a new country. Boats are for exploring and this policy change is strictly a cash grab and not a technical consideration.
