I understand Starlink requiring you register in the country you are in. Their policy needs to allow us to do that.

Starlink has added an extra layer of safety and comfort to sailing the oceans. It would be be a big loss if the average sailor no longer has access to this amazing technology. Writing this while crossing the Arafura Sea, thanks to Starlink.

As a cruising sailor on my sailboat, I really appreciate how StarLink has enhanced my access to the internet at an affordable price. Like many people i know in the small yacht cruising community, I hope the service remains a viable, affordable option for my connectivity needs.

Starlink has been the biggest blessing by unlocking what was impossible before, especially for us sailors and remote digital nomads. Removing the 90 day transfer restriction is only sensible, to allow us to continue going forward with what has worked so great.

The proposed changes from Starlink will make Starlink’s internet prohibitive for everyday cruises. This is a safety concern.
