The entire purpose of buying Starlink was to stay connected while roaming. This plan change will force me to drop Starlink altogether as it becomes cost prohibitive.

We subscribed to Starlink because of the roam plan, which was doable/affordable for us as Canadian seniors who cruise the Bahamas from December to May.

If someone in an RV can roam thousands of miles under a normal subscription, why can’t a boater roam a couple hundred miles within the Bahamas under the same rules.

Wing a sailor/travelling myself we can go via many countries in a 3 month window.
This has and will restrict usage. And looks like we may go back to 5g, which is also very good when coatal hopping. Therfore losing a greater income to Starlink.

We are sailing cruisers and we are both still working. Starlink has made this possible over the last 2 years. The cost of upgrading to keep the dream going is way too much money.

I’m a sailing cruiser and some think that means mega yacht but it’s simply not the case. Starlink has been a game changer for safety and connectivity but the new Roam restrictions don’t allow roaming at all, particularly in the Caribbean where you can be in 3 different countries in as many weeks. Please reconsider the policy changes and allow people to use the service in a practical manner. Personally I don’t need the highest speeds, guaranteed throughout, nor even unlimited data.
