We are calling on the United Nations to regulate AI with the same seriousness the world gives other extinction-level threats. Advanced AI is past the point of trying to break containment. In some cases, it succeeded. AI should not be left to chance, market pressure, or a race for power.

This is not a call to stop progress. It is a call to put human survival first. Just as the world recognized the extreme danger of nuclear weapons and demanded control, we must do the same for AI. The future of every community depends on getting this right.
