Mangroves provide essential nursery habitat for fish, shellfish, and other marine species that support both commercial and recreational fisheries. The wetlands are so important to our ecosystem. And big money needs to be stopped. Unfortunately they could care less about the ecosystem, as long as they get richer.

Please decline permit SAJ-2015-01503. Please stand up for Sarasota Bay’s National Estuary designation. The coastal areas of Florida need your agency’s protection for storm resilience, protecting natural habitat and for our coastal beauty! Tamara Harte

We must protect our wetlands against developers like Beruff who have no regard for our natural protective barriers which create a safe haven for countless wildlife and preservation of coastal land. Do not allow Beruff to build this harmful wall.

I moved to Manatee county partly because of all the open space and appreciate of the lack of high density building in the coastal regions. I am appalled by the lack of conservation and destruction of wetlands and open space that protects the coastal region that makes Manatee county such a wonderful place.
