In KEA, rank is always above preference, so a better rank student will be considered for a college before a worse rank student even if it is the better rank student's second preference and the worse rank student's first preference, and for seat allotment KEA fills all seats in Round 1 itself and does not hold any seats for Round 2, Round 2 seats are only those that become vacant when students leave their Round 1 seat through Choice 3, Choice 4, non-payment, or upgrade through Choice 2.

This is not right 🥲 , it means we have to join same clg that is allotted and suppose if somone who is not allotted any clg he goes to second round and get top clgs seats which was rejected by some PPL with less rank

Bcz it actually doesn't make any sense. According to the kea ,they are saying that they will let us know about the second round either on the 5th or after the 5th. But how does that make sense? If there is no choice entry for the second round and they tell us that on the 5th, then people who have paid the fees but haven't joined the college yet would lose the college they were allotted.

It's very unfair to not have a choice entry process and 2nd round option entry facility and it wasn't informed prior to the start of first round.
