I was told years ago by Eversource when they trimmed our road that a tree at the end of my driveway could NOT be cut down because we are on a deemed scenic road. This tree as it stands is sandwiched between the main line and the supply line to our neighbors across the street on a 90 degree angle. There is also a severely rotten ash that will affect the pole “Stay” there that they would not remove either. The proposed cutting should not take place per their previous comments of deemed scenic rd.

I have seen high environmental impacts on other projects and would like this planned and clear expectations understood and reviewed by outside reviewers

As an employee for the company that maintains the trees for utility companies I’m telling you this project to run 3-phase lines down the turnpike will not reduce your power outages, and the impact on this scenic road will be forever, and most will not like it. It will change this road forever.

The roots of those trees are holding the soil/road from washing away. Keep them there!

Francestown turnpike is a scenic road lined with gorgeous trees. It would be a shame to lose them with no guarantee that we’d have less power outages.

There is absolutely no need for this. No one asked for this and these trees are protected.
The roots are holding the soil in place…
