We do not need a development site and we certainly don't need any trees cut down.

Please consider alternatives before removing mature trees.

Mature trees do so much for us - cooling hot days, storing and cleaning storm water, hosting hundreds of types of pollinators and birds and creatures… let’s do a little something for them.

These are majestic large trees that should be saved. Use imagination and architecture style to combine the trees as part of the beautiful setting with landscape and building.

We’ve lived here in River Forest for 51 years. What makes this area so unique are its trees of so many varieties and ages. Removal of any is very painful and not in character to who we are.

They're Natures gift to us that continues to give back to us on a daily basis in so many different ways. We need to cherish and memorialize them as a way of saying Thanks.

We’re called River FOREST - we need the trees to be a forest!

The tree removal would poorly impact the beauty of the neighborhood.

Keep our trees where they are

Mature trees are one of the differentiators of our community. At one time, Thatcher Avenue was a bower of dutch elm trees (until disease brought them down). To remove a mature tree that is healthy is antithetical to good stewardship.

Because I am concerned about the environment in River Forest. It is important to have trees for the beauty and health they bring our community.

Because destroying grand works of nature for concrete is just wrong and unnecessary!

Let our citizens at least have a say in this, since we’ve had no say in the egregious “development” slated for the site.

If these trees are cut down, they cannot be replaced.
