For more than two years, people like me have been going through the immigration process, putting our lives on hold and investing all our time, energy, and hope into building a future outside Iran.
And now, this decision means that all of those years of effort and sacrifice have been for nothing.
We cannot afford to live in Iran anymore because of the devastating inflation, but at the same time, we are being prevented from leaving the country and building a life elsewhere.
This is not justice.

This law is extremely unfair. This is a violation of human rights. When a person wants to migrate with valid education and documents, you block their path. These same laws cause people to take illegal actions and that’s why goverments face numerus challenges with their migrants because of fake and invalid documents. So our request is to reconsider this rule. We all push ourselves to do our best to be successful in this exam. We have spent our entire lives and time to doing our best.

Dear Pearson, Preventing a whole nation from Education is against human rights. Iranian have the right to access quality education. PTE is an important part of the academic and immigration plans of many Iranian students and professionals. A short transition period would make a significant difference to those who have already invested considerable time, money, and effort preparing for this examination. We sincerely hope you will review this situation.

I need to take the PTE exam because my future and the path I have worked so hard to build depend on it. Being denied the opportunity to take the PTE exam solely because of my nationality feels deeply unfair. I should not have to see my dreams, education, and future determined by political conflicts that are completely beyond my control. I am only asking for a fair chance to prove my abilities and continue the path I have worked so hard for.

I am writing to respectfully request your urgent consideration regarding the recently announced suspension of PTE exam services for candidates residing in Iran, effective September 8, 2026.
I fully understand that Pearson must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and sanctions requirements. However, this sudden change will have a significant impact on thousands of Iranian test-takers who have been preparing for the PTE examination for months and have made important academic, and immigration.

Because it is a racist act, and this issue will affect many Iranian people who are not involved in or responsible for the causes of the sanctions or any harmful activities.
