The hardships and restrictions imposed on us by our own authoritarian regime are already more than enough. We shouldn’t have to face additional barriers from those who could be helping us instead. Cancelling or restricting PTE access for Iranians only makes an already difficult situation even harder. We need support and opportunities, not more obstacles.

I am an applicant. I have been taking English language classes since childhood, and I have studied seriously and worked very hard to prepare for this exam. Being denied the opportunity to take the exam because of my nationality, something that is completely beyond my control, is simply not fair.
