I am signing this petition because of all the injustices imposed on the people of Iran, while the real responsibility lies solely with an incompetent government. Unfortunately, the burden of sanctions and all their consequences falls heavily on Iran’s talented and hardworking young people, who deserve opportunities to build a better future.

This is deeply unfair to Iranian test takers. Many of us have spent months, sometimes years, preparing for the PTE, investing significant amounts of money in courses, study materials, and exam fees, only to be told that we can no longer take the test because of our nationality. We have studied, prepared, paid, and worked hard just like everyone else. Our nationality should not determine whether we are allowed to demonstrate our English proficiency. If there are legitimate security concerns, th

Restricting PTE access for Iranian candidates is deeply unfair. Thousands of people have spent months preparing, investing their time and money, and building their future around this exam. Nationality should never be a barrier to education and professional opportunities. We respectfully ask Pearson to reconsider this decision and find a fair solution for Iranian test takers. We are not asking for special treatment — we are simply asking for an equal opportunity to pursue our goals.

I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

This is one of the cruelest things you can do to Iranians, because many of them need to emigrate to escape the Islamic Republic’s prison.

This petition is important to me because, as an Iranian professional, I deserve equal access to internationally recognized exams and the opportunity to pursue my professional and career goals without discrimination based on my nationality.

As an Iranian healthcare professional, I need access to the PTE exam for international licensing and career opportunities. Language testing should be based on qualifications, not nationality. Please remove these restrictions and give Iranian professionals a fair opportunity.

Hello dear, I think this restriction is unfair, and the world applies double standards to Iranian people compared to people who are living in countries affected by war.

This is so unfair. Equal access to education and equal opportunities are fundamental human rights for everyone. These sanctions do not put pressure on the government; instead, they put pressure on ordinary people who are already struggling to build and live a normal life.
