Please, we kindly ask you to remove the restriction on taking the PTE exam for Iranian candidates who are currently residing in Iran. Many Iranian students and professionals rely on PTE as an essential step toward their educational and career goals abroad. We sincerely hope you will reconsider this restriction and allow candidates in Iran to take the exam again. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Dear Pearson PTE Team,
I am writing on behalf of Iranian PTE Academic candidates who are directly affected by the recent Pearson VUE announcement regarding candidates who are residents of Iran, effective September 8, 2026.
We fully understand that Pearson must comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, and we respect Pearson's obligations in this regard.
However, many Iranian candidates had already registered and paid for their PTE Academic examinations before this announcement.

I am Iranian and I am suffering in my country because of incompetent and irresponsible officials. I have no future or income. When I see that the world is oppressing and pressuring the Iranian people, I am angry and disappointed. The Iranian people are separated from the government and its rule.

I need this exam for my academic immigration and to secure a PhD position. I have been working toward pursuing a PhD for several years, and I am hoping to take this exam by January 2027, as it is required for my PhD applications.

I have been preparing for the PTE exam for an entire year. I have spent countless hours studying, practicing, and working hard to be fully prepared. And just when I was finally ready to take the exam, I found out that PTE is no longer available for Iranian citizens.
This is deeply unfair and incredibly frustrating.
Why do things have to become harder and harder for Iranian people? Why should we be treated differently from everyone else? Iranian citizens are no different from people of other na

We respectfully ask Pearson to ensure that Iranian candidates are not unfairly denied access to Pearson examinations based solely on their nationality. Any restrictions should be applied only when legally required and in a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory manner. Equal access to education and professional qualifications should be protected.

Punishing a nation for political reasons and conflicts between governments is a violation of human rights and an inhuman and immoral act.

I am signing this petition because Pearson’s decision to suspend PTE Academic services for Iranian residents with only a few days’ notice is deeply unfair to candidates who have spent months preparing for the exam. Many candidates have already paid exam fees and arranged international travel, accommodation, and important university or immigration deadlines based on their confirmed test dates.
We understand that Pearson may need to comply with applicable regulations, but affected candidates deser
