This is discrimination against people who have suffered under the Islamic regime for more than 47 years. People who were brutally murdered on the streets of Iran by the Islamic regime for asking basic human rights.

I’m signing this petition because denying people access to an international exam because of political decisions is deeply unfair. This decision could affect the future of hundreds of thousands of people. Iranians, or people anywhere in the world, should not lose basic opportunities for education, migration, and their future because of political issues between governments.

As an Iranian GP who has been working in Australia for over 10 years, and having witnessed how deeply devoted the Iranian community has been to Australia, I find this kind of limitation against those who wish to join and contribute to our community deeply heartbreaking and profoundly unfair.

This ban is unfair and unjust. Iranian people should not be collectively punished based on their nationality. We deserve equal treatment, fairness, and the opportunity to live, work, and contribute peacefully.

Access to PTE Academic should be based on academic and language-testing needs, not nationality or place of residence. Iranian students and professionals should have fair access to internationally recognised English language testing for education, employment and migration opportunities.

I think this is banning a large groups of innocent people from their basic human right like the right to study.

International language tests such as PTE and TOEFL are essential for Iranian students, researchers, and professionals seeking to study, work, or pursue academic opportunities internationally. Restricting access based solely on nationality creates significant barriers to education and professional development and can disrupt established academic pathways. Language assessment should remain accessible to individuals based on their qualifications and language proficiency, not their nationality!

The PTE exam actually plays a vital role in my career, because I essentially need the score to register at a new university and go on to a new opportunity. I may miss a possible shining future because of sanctions that have an unclear effect on Iran's government.

It’s against our nationality and it’s unfair why an international English test is banned for Iranian people ????? It’s totally unfair

Access to education and international assessment should be based on fairness and equal opportunity, not nationality. Iranian candidates deserve the same opportunity to demonstrate their English proficiency as everyone else. I strongly support this campaign and hope this restriction will be reconsidered.

Every one has to have right to do an English test and it's impotant for many many people who wants to immigrate from Iran for a better life.

Because your decision is against human right, and taking PTE exam must be available for everyone regardless the place of living. This can affect the fate of hardworking Iranian.
