This policy is discriminatory, unjust and deeply unfair to Iranian students who simply want the same opportunity as everyone else to demonstrate their English proficiency. They are not asking for special treatment—they are willing to travel, pay the required fees and comply with all examination and identification requirements. Education should not be used to punish ordinary people for circumstances beyond their control. I urge Pearson and the relevant authorities to reconsider this policy.

Dear Pearson, Iranian have the right to access quality education. Preventing a whole nation from Education is against human rights. PTE is an important part of the academic and immigration plans of many Iranian students and professionals. A short transition period would make a significant difference to those who have already invested considerable time, money, and effort preparing for this examination.
