I signed this petition because I believe it is deeply unfair that Iranian people, cultured, educated, and highly capable individuals, are being prevented from taking Pearson examinations that are essential for their education, professional careers, migration, and broader academic and professional development.

Dear PTE and Pearson Team,
I am writing to express my deep concern and strong objection regarding any potential restrictions that may prevent Iranian candidates from taking the PTE Academic examination.
Access to education, professional development, and the opportunity to build a better future should not be determined by nationality or political circumstances. Many Iranian students and professionals rely on internationally recognized English-language examinations such as PTE Academic

Because it’s a racist act and the issue will affects many Iranian people who are not involved and related to the cause of sanctions or any harmful activities.

The Iranian people have nothing to do with the Islamic government and they themselves have stood up to this regime. Why should they boycott innocent people from taking the language test? These sanctions do no harm to the Islamic Republic and only harm the Iranian people, who are educated and seeking progress.

Iranian people have the right to access quality education. Denying an entire population access to an international English proficiency test is discriminatory and creates unfair barriers to education and employment. Access to academic opportunities should not depend on nationality or place of residence.

All people, regardless of nationality, should be able to live and grow in the global village; it is an obvious discrimination in 21st century against ordinary people who do not have any control on the policy or the place they were born.

This sudden restriction is unfair to Iranian PTE candidates who have already spent significant time, money, and effort preparing and arranging travel. Many have already booked and paid for exams outside Iran under the previous rules. Pearson should provide a reasonable transition period and allow existing candidates to take their scheduled exams. Education and language assessment should remain accessible and fair to everyone.
