My grandmother, Gertrude (Curtis) Gruber, was one of the first campers to attend Camp Michigamme in 1922.

Some of my best childhood memories were made here. May gods will be done.

Wonderful place. My 4 kids all spent summer there.

Camp Michigamme played a fundamental role in my husband’s walk with the Lord. It’s where he committed his life to Christ. Where we got married, years later. I pray that we can embody what Christ’s church looks like, coming together to restore camp and be good stewards of what the Lord has blessed us with in Camp Michigamme. Blessings, Lauren Paris

Camp Michigamme means so much to my family and I want a future there where we can continue to experience more of what has already changed our lives in a positive way.

This is where I found faith after my dad passed.

Many great memories and lifelong friends made here. The spirit and joy shared shaped me into a God loving person. Please save Camp Micigamme for future generations.

Camp Michigamme was the starting point for me in my relationship with the Lord. I know Jesus because of Camp Michigamme and hundreds of teens over my 17 years of youth ministry know Jesus because of the seed that was planted and then cultivated at Camp Michigamme. If it can be saved for the Kingdom then we should do all we can to save it.

Please allow those of us who love camp the opportunity to actually attempt to save it

Camp is/was a safe place for kids to learn and grow without outside social pressures

I grew up and grew my faith on those grounds. You can truly feel God’s power, love, and presence the moment you step on to that property. He’s in the trees, He’s in the sand. He’s in the water. He’s there.

This is an historic camp that has positively impacted the Christian lives of many young people. Its beauty is awe-inspiring and I feel is the God is in the midst of those who attend

I grew up here. Met my husband here, was married here. Now I can't even bring my children here. The chapel was named after my relatives. Its my family history. Don't let this place go.

The holy ground at Camp Michigamme led generations to Christ for over a century. We can't let this ministry go! There are so many people out there who need this place.

Camp Michigamme is where I surrendered my life to Christ and received hope and healing from SH.

It would be tragic to lose this place.

Camp Michigamme has been an institute for generations and ALL avenues need to be explored and the property should only be sold once ALL other options have been exhausted. The entire process has been disrespectful to the thousands of former campers, volunteers, and friends of Camp Michigamme.

It is important to keep God in our children’s lives and what better way than a Lutheran Christian Camp ⛺️ 🙏🏻
