It’s important to keep the integrity of Surf Club as it’s always been - a quaint and charming town beach serving Madison residents as it’s top priority.

We love the surf club. The petition seeks
more input and knowledge about how
things play out for the future.
We should have a say and not just have to pay.

It is very difficult to provide accurate input without understanding the costs associated with each item proposed. Maintenance of Madison’s existing assets should be first and happen regularly prior to undertaking brand new expensive initiatives. Any proposed updates or renovations should include estimates and the option to say no if the options are not appealing.

The town provided survey was already top loaded with a significant and costly renovation of the surf club. I would like to see a much more financially responsible, bottoms up, “less is more” option to repair and invigorate a town beach facility that we already love the way it is.

The Surf Club is a beautiful, quaint asset to the town of Madison. The first priority should be to address the beach/sea wall. General maintenance on existing structures should continue until the people of Madison vote for further improvements.

This is a common sense course of action that deserves the serious consideration of our board of selectmen.

As a Madison resident I want the best and most-cost effective solution to the Surf Club improvement plan. The current survey is not adequate to address the issues.

Surf Club is an amazing part of our town and does not need to be transformed. We need to take care of what we already have instead of trying to make everything bigger and better and more expensive!

Great place to gather. Fix building now before it becomes an eyesore and unsafe
