I would like to have somewhere, within walking distance, to bring my dog to socialize in a controlled setting where he can be off leash to socialize and exercise with other dogs and their owners. The areas mentioned in the petition are not usable in a way that I feel is safe for my dog.

There are no safe fenced in places for dogs in bells corners. Lucie park has been made off leash, we're thankful for that but there are no fences.

It is about the animal. Like us we all need a place where we can have fun. It is equivalent to children not having a school yard , park or back yard.
