I feel as if it is important that there should be no more yonder bags at McKinley High School. Strictly to the fact of, this is Canton, Ohio. It is an unsafe place for children. Considering there is constant fights, bullying, and worst comes to worst, if a shooting happens, children need to be able to say goodbye to their parents. If worst comes to worst

its unfair that we have to have our phones locked up when teachers can have theirs. its unsafe and causes many problems, plus, students need their phones if they have medical conditions or need to translate.

Im signing this petition because in my opinion we need our phones because if something happens or what if we need to text our parent asap. I also would feel more comfortable with my phone so that it doesn’t get lost or stolen. Yondr bags are also just a waste of money because almost all of McKinley breaks their yondr open and I understand we need to get our education and be able to focus on the lesson and not our phone but I would much rather have my phone in my pocket or even in my book bag.

We don't need Yondr bags, an extra and unnecessary addition to our many responsibilities of taking care of things which we also have to pay for if we lose as if we voluntarily chose to ever have them or lose them, there are much better ways of managing phones in school without making it feel more akin to a prison than anything else.
