I have chosen AS Roma as my team to follow here in America for the last four years. I love this team and I’ve loved seeing it grow and advance. This is a step back that I cannot support and will change my support if it happens. I’d ask you not to sign Greenwood. Even though he is a great football player and could advance the team, I’d like to be proud of the players, even if it means a longer journey to top form.

A move like this does no allign with core values of the fans. Can you imagine him wearing lipstick on his cheek in support of domestic violence victims? It also does not allign with the stated values on the Freidkins own website for the companies they own.

There's not much to be said. If I was going to support a club that put winning over everything I definitely wouldn't choose to support Roma. I watch games with my daughter. I dont want to explain to her that the club is support is ok with what Mason Greenwood did.

Signing Greenwood would be a slap in the face to all Roma fans. Excitement going into the next season is at an all-time high for me, given the return to the Champions League and the squad we are building. Even so, I find myself wondering if I could still support the team I love if we signed someone with the troubling domestic violence history of Greenwood. Do us all a favor and make it easy to keep rooting for Roma
