Pump.fun is genuinely one of the shittiest fucking companies in this space.
It's insane how much money we pour into their pockets daily, just for them to remain greedy, selfish, and completely fucking useless.
I'll give them credit for helping grow Solana and meme coins, but what the fuck have they actually done since?
Pump.fun is a REACTIVE company, not an innovative one.
Bags gains traction, and suddenly Pump.fun introduces GitHub fee sharing. FOMO popularizes social trading, and Pump.fun starts pushing its app, leaderboards, thesis rewards, callout rewards, and throwing ridiculous money at influential traders to return. We saw the same shit with Stonk and tokenized stock pairs.
It's the same fucking cycle. Smaller launchpads innovate, Pump.fun copies, then uses its money and massive user base to crush competition. How the fuck can smaller platforms compete?
Then there's the absolute embarrassment surrounding this company.
Kimchi gets hacked, posts a ca QR code, and Alon immediately retweets it without seemingly doing basic due diligence, putting traders at risk. How fucking irresponsible can you be?
And speaking of Kimchi, show me verifiable proof of him making over $2 million on-chain through actual trading, excluding alleged rugging and LARP deploys. Why are we promoting this supposed trading success and lifestyle when I see so little evidence backing it up?
Then there's Jason, a Pump.fun associate, who reportedly made a rape joke publicly on Twitter. What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?
If Pump.fun genuinely gave a fuck about the token economy, they'd address Block Zero sniping dev wallets. This extractive bullshit makes trenching new pairs practically impossible, yet they seemingly couldn't care less.
The worst part is I CAN'T DO SHIT ABOUT IT.
I'm just a trader. I can't change anything, and I'll probably keep trading Pump.fun tokens because that's where the fucking volume and liquidity are.
Pump.fun is so dominant they don't even need to earn respect anymore. They copy ideas, throw money around, ignore traders' problems, and collect billions in fees. No airdrop or apparent plans for one, either. Just useless buybacks and burns for their shitty ICO token.
Money isn't innovation. Market dominance isn't respect. Being the biggest doesn't make you the fucking best.
I'm fucking sick of watching this company prioritize its pockets over the traders who built its success.
Pump.fun, do fucking better.
