My family uses that park and adjacent trails at least weekly. It saddens me to think that the council would even consider putting ballfields in that area. After a hike or ride, prior to returning to the parking lot, a highlight of many evening hikes is ending them with a loop around the lakeshore to enjoy the quiet, peaceful, often colorful views of our lake. Please don't alter this Black Diamond treasure.

Sound is significantly amplified near water. Sports games will undoubtedly involve much noise and thus will impact residents on Lake Sawyer. Please consider a different location away from private residents near a large body of water to avoid this unique situation.

Oakpointe needs to fulfill it's obligation and build these parks within its Ten Trails property.

Noise and light pollution. Litter in the Lake. Fertilizer damaging lake water quality.

Oakpoint should fulfil their obligation by building recreation facilities on their own properties inside their development. There is no good reason why Black Diamond should sacrifice the Lake Sawyer Park to fulfill Oakpoint's obligations, no matter how much cash is offered.

Oakpointe committed to provide fields. They should use their property, not the irreplaceable naturals areas by Lake Sawyer Their profits should not override our community pristine locations.

The park is a beautiful natural area and should be preserved as such. Have Oakpoint build the ballfields in 10 Trails like they originally agreed to.

why take property away for the City of Black Diamond, when the developer can take it out of it's property

Traffic and noise will ruin the privacy of Lake Homes and the adjacent Communities.

I have lived in Black Diamond for 30 yrs now, and hike the Lake Sawyer regional park grounds on a regular basis. I dont have kids, dont play baseball, and the Oakpointe developer has LOTS of acerage elsewhere, they could build parks and ballfields on, without destroying more trees, and habitat, or the greenspace I enjoy almost every day. They have already clearcut hundreds of acres to build thousands of houses. Make them stand by their obligation to build on there own property

We live in Lake sawyer. And are not in favor of lights and loss of natural area. And we don’t want Ten trails / Oakpoint to get off the hook for what they are supposed to do.

Ten Trails needs to build field on their own property. The park is beautiful and quiet. It's not a place for sporting events. There are also safety issues. Sport fields with young children, distracted parents, do not belong near a large body of water. Keep our park quiet and natural. Thank you.
