We ask that Marshall Park be kept safe for everyone, with clear rules that protect people, children, and responsible pet owners. This park is for all people and kids to enjoy, and it is not a dog park.
Right now, some people do not feel safe here because dog owners bring aggressive dogs unleashed. That puts others at risk, including people who are following the rules with leashed pets and the children playing just steps away at the playground. A public park should be a place where families can relax, walk, and play without worrying about uncontrolled dogs near them.
We are asking for stronger attention to leash rules and a park space that is respected by everyone who uses it. Dogs should be under control at all times, especially in areas where children are present and where many neighbors come to enjoy the park safely.
Marshall Park belongs to the whole community. We want it to stay welcoming, peaceful, and safe for all. Please help protect this space so that everyone can enjoy it without fear or danger.
