Taking a disabled parent to hospital was the most stressful time of my life some times three appointments a week, finding a parking space was dreadful. Often had to take another person take them to appointment and then wait around for a space. Some out lying villages don’t have the option of buses, And park and ride isn’t an option when you’re blind and fully disabled. Parents live in out lying village.

Because it's awful to try and get a parking space. And when you are very ill or taking an ill loved one to hospital there are no parking spaces left which creates even more stress.

I have to visit the JR quite often, I have no immune system so do not want to use public transport. Having to drive around the car park for an hour to get parking. It’s ridiculous.

I am at both hospitals a lot with my Son, we try to use Thornhill park and Ride when he is feeling okay, if not I have to drop him at the entrance and then pray that I can park.

The parking is horrendous , not enough spaces and busier day by day . We have been late many times for appointments over the last year and some were day surgery.

Parking is horrible. Limited disabled Parking which isn't always near to the hospital. Parking down near by streets isn't an option any more as most now require parking permits. NHS staff shouldn't have to pay for parking.

Driving round and round with a 98 year old who is seriously ill trying to find a parking space when you left home 35 miles away 90 minutes early to give yourself time to park is really enough to tip you over the edge of sanity

Took me over an hour to park to take my disabled son to A&E for a time sensitive issue.

Reaching a hospital appointment on time, particularly from some distance or more isolated locations, and especially when transporting elderly, physically or mentally people is virtually impossible without privtate car use. The significant lack of parking at the Churchill, and especially the JR is not just an intolerable additional stress, it is a barrier.

This is a main hospital for a large catchment and needs parking as lots of people have disabilities and can't even walk to the bus stops me included so please do the right thing 🙏

The lack of parking just adds stress to what is often an already stressful situation.

My mother recently underwent surgery at the JR, which was amazing but the return visits were stressful as she couldn’t walk and we couldn’t park. The hospital and patients deserve a car park which supports the level of service the hospital provides.

We must have multi story car par at JR to help the patients & relatives to visit the hospital. Park & Ride is no good for everyone especially the elderly & sick.

There are no Parking and patients are late for their appointments. Specially people living in the Villages. Disabled people can't travel by bus because of wheel chair or because of other disabilities
