As a proud Democrat, and life long resident of Selinsgrove, it is my belief, and personal opinion, that ICE has no legitimate reason to enter our borough, other than to spread fear in a community that has not once had any issue, or federal related problem, with illegal immigration.

All ICE does is destroy, there is no room for ICE in the nice community we have. Keep ICE out of our town.

As a resident and person of color in Selinsgrove I believe ICE has zero place in Selinsgrove. Our community has thrived the diversity that’s been welcomed with open arms and ICE will only break that community that’s been built. No one should have to live in fear and no humane individual would want to see our community suffer due to ICE initiatives.

America has always been a country built on immigrants their labor, and their services: subjugating human beings to unjust detainment and abuse is a disgusting abuse of human rights and violates the principles America has been built upon.

It is important to me that we are not ripping families apart in Selinsgrove and that everyone, no matter what, gets equal rights and freedom.

Selinsgrove is a nice community, bringing ICE into town would terrorize people. The people have seen what ICE has done to great cities where ICE wasn’t needed, such as Chicago or Minneapolis. ICE does nothing but violate the rights of people!
