Please don’t spoil our village, particularly the wildlife and ecosystems around The Pools. Services are already stretched and people need space to support physical and mental health needs.

The village water & waste system can already not cope with the amount of houses. Also this road is rebound for flooding!

We need to preserve green belt land and retain the integrity of Essington Pools and its wildlife. Essington does not have the infrastructure to support more housing and the proposed development would make a significant increase to the traffic on High Hill. There is already a care home in Essington, along with supported accommodation facilities - and shared ownership dwellings. Our rural village is being eroded by housing developments and I strongly object to this one on the above grounds.

I'm completely against this, as are many others, the infrastructure of the village can barely cope with amount of new houses built recently, never mind the disruption to wild life and traffic this will bring.

Our village cannot cope with more housing and people. We don’t have the resources for it! The school and doctors cannot cope as it is.

Would be really nice to keep Essington the way it is and not waste money on a development maybe put the money on the roads and back in to the area to make it better

Green fields are precious to my family who live one door away from the field
Can High Hill cope with any more traffic it is backed up High Hill most evenings from the lights at Essington road

Right on the nature reserve - badgers, foxes, birds disturbed. lack of road infrastructure - already a massively bust route. poor water drainage area that floods most years. Additional runoff will add to this.

Because Essington doesn’t need this!! It doesn’t have the infrastructure to support it!!! The water and drainage supply is already stretched with raw sewage found at the bottom of this development in heavy rain - the impact on the traffic, an already over subscribed school which new families cant get places at - the impact on the wildlife. The field is used by the foxes, herons, cows, small Mammals and bats!!! Leave our field and green spaces alone!!!

The wildlife this will affect is wide ranging and diverse. It provides a perfect habitat, safe space and hunting grounds for so many species of animal.
The excess traffic on an already overburdened road will be catastrophic for residents. Noise pollution during and after awful!
Flooding risk increases due to the nature of the road and area- it already floods in high rain.
We already have an adequate care home with vacancies very local to the proposed build.
Not welcome and not necessary.

We have had so much development over the past few years our infrastructure is at breaking point. Please leave green spaces alone & redevelop other sites first.

One of the last green spaces towards the centre of Essington, I was brought up and lived here for many years in high hill overlooking this field. My mum still does. Use brownfield sites instead! Once it's gone, it's gone. And a care home in the plans? Literally a stones throw from the other one in village. Yet again, planners putting profits above the need for beautiful green spaces.
